Zhongke Shinzoom Announced to 100,000-Ton Anode Expansion Project
Recently, the Management Committee of Qujing Economic Development Zone in Yunnan Province released the "Announcement of the Pre-Approval of the Construction Engineering Design Scheme for the Integrated Production Construction Project of 100,000-Ton Lithium-ion Battery Anode Material by Yunnan Zhongke Shinzoom Graphite Co., Ltd."

Zhongke Shinzoom Graphite Co., Ltd. is a 100%-owned graphite anode subsidiary of Zhongke Electric. According to the information, the construction engineering design scheme for the integrated production construction project of 100,000-ton lithium-ion battery anode material by Yunnan Zhongke Shinzoom Graphite Co., Ltd. has been reviewed by the Qujing Economic Development Zone Branch of Qujing Municipal Natural Resources and Planning Bureau and complies with the local planning technical index requirements.
The project is located to the west of Sanyuan Road and to the north of Huanbei Road in the national-level Qujing Economic Development Zone. The total land area of the project is 370,269.51 square meters. The project site mainly plans for 20 single buildings, including 8 workshops, 1 warehouse, 1 comprehensive building, 1 logistics service center, 1 shift dormitory building, 3 gatehouses, 1 hazardous waste and solid waste warehouse (including a garbage station), 1 maintenance workshop, 1 GIS building, 1 substation comprehensive building, and 1 garbage station.
On October 28, 2021, the "100,000-ton Anode Material Integrated Project" jointly conducted by EVE Energy and Zhongke Electric was officially signed in Qujing Economic Development Zone, marking the official landing of the project. The project plans to invest a total of 2.5 billion yuan, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of anode material, and the capacity scale of the first and second phases is 50,000 tons/year each.
In addition, in order to seize the market opportunities in the process of building the overseas lithium battery industry chain, in June this year, the signing ceremony of the 200,000-ton lithium-ion battery anode material integrated base project in Oman by Zhongke Electric was held at the Oman Investment Authority. This signing marks the beginning of the construction of the world's largest overseas anode material production base by Zhongke Electric.
It is reported that Zhongke Electric, with its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhongke Shinzoom Hong Kong as the main body, has established a project company in Oman to invest in and build the 200,000-ton lithium-ion battery anode material integrated base project. The project plans to invest no more than 8 billion yuan (subject to the actual investment amount), and will be built in two parts, with each part planned to have a capacity of 100,000 tons/year, and the construction period is expected to be 36 months each.
