After the first year of the outbreak in 2020, the new energy automobile industry in Europe is still in a rapid rising range.

A few days ago, according to a new report from the non-profit organization Transportation and Environment, as of May 2021, there are 38 super battery plants under construction or planned to build in Europe. If all 38 factories are put into production, by 2025, they will provide 1,144 GWh of batteries, enough to power 90% of new cars.

According to the analysis of the Transportation and Environmental Organization, by 2025, these battery factories will enable Europe to occupy 20% of the global battery production market share, second only to China.

At present, most of the world's electric vehicle battery production is in Asia-this is an untenable situation for North America and Europe that want to promote the popularization of electric vehicles. In addition, it is more environmentally friendly to produce batteries as close as possible to the production and sales locations of the vehicles.

With the EU's intervention in domestic new energy vehicles, all EU countries have introduced policies to promote the development of new energy vehicles. At present, with the exception of the recent decline in the UK's new energy vehicle subsidies, the rest of the EU countries have strengthened their new energy vehicle subsidy programs to promote the development of new energy vehicles.

From the perspective of the development goals of new energy vehicles in various countries, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Portugal, Spain and other countries in Europe have all put forward a 100% goal for the popularity of new energy vehicles in the future.
In the first half of 2021, seven European countries (Germany, Norway, Sweden, France, Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom) accumulated a total of 824,000 new energy vehicles. It is estimated that the sales of new energy vehicles in Europe in the first half of the year will reach 1.01 million.
