LFP version Model 3 officially released, energy density lower than BYD HAN EV

Note: According to ICCSINO, Chinese new energy vehicle market continues to warm up in September.
According to ICCSINO, Chinese new energy vehicle market continues to warm up in September. NEV production was 139.1K units, M-T-M up 31.66%, Y-O-Y up 81.95%. Corresponding installed vehicle battery volume was 6.57GWh. M-T-M up 26.08%, Y-O-Y 66.16%. 
 
From the accumulated data from January to August, Chinese new energy vehicle production was 692.3K units, Y-O-Y down 16.67%. The gap is gradually shrinking. Corresponding installed vehicle battery volume was 34.24GWh from Jan to Sep, Y-O-Y down 18.71%.
 
From the perspective of NEV models, Chinese Top10 passenger vehicle production was 62831 units in September, which took up for 45.23%, CRO10 concentration declined by 1% M-T-M. Dongguan MINI took up 1st place, whose output was 20818 units, M-T-M up 43.59%. Tesla Model 3 ranked 2nd, production was 12203 in Sep, M-T-M down 4%. It's worth mentioning that, LFP version Model 3 was firstly installed with batteries supplied by CATL. The battery pack energy density of LFP version Model 3 was 125wh/kg. Installed battery volume per car was 55KWh, which is 4KWh higher that NCM-version Model 3. Furthermore, BYD HAN EV started to be produced massively since September, whose output was 7053 units in September, M-T-M up 147%. Compared with LFP version Model 3, HAN EV batter pack energy density is higher that reaches 140 wh/kg.
