Lithium cobalt oxide prices in China continue to fall, dropping 16% from 280,000 yuan/ ton at the end of 2018 to 235,000 yuan/ ton at the end of April. Low raw Cobalt prices and weak consumer electronics demand along with the shift in sentiment towards low cobalt cathodes may continue putting pressure on price.
