Major enterprises on petroleum coke market post stable performance in November: Monthly report

ICC News: This month, major enterprises on petroleum coke market performed steadily, and local refinery market saw a variety of performance.
In early November, on the low-sulphur petroleum coke side, PetroChina seemed calm on the surface, although after Dagang Petrochemical offered preferences to major customers, low-sulphur petroleum coke sales in northeast region began to cool and some refineries ramped up preferential margins for contract users.
On the medium-sulphur petroleum coke side, Sinopec recorded mild price rise, while PetroChina and CNOOC saw market stabilizing and there wasn't price adjustment at local refineries.
In Mid-November, petroleum coke price averaged at 1,135 yuan/mt, up 5 yuan/mt sequentially.
Domestic low-sulphur petroleum coke refineries all offered preferences to major clients, while local refineries still saw mild price hike.
On the medium-sulphur petroleum coke side, Sinopec raised price by 10-30 yuan/mt across the board, and prices from PetroChina and CNOOC were stabilizing; only several refineries made mild adjustment on the local refinery market.
In late November, on the low-sulphur petroleum coke market, the number of major clients PetroChina offered preferences to was growing, with preferential margin of 80-100 yuan/mt.
On the medium-sulphur petroleum coke market, Sinopec, PetroChina and CNOOC was stabilizing gradually, while local refineries began to head toward two directions: upward and downward.
As of now, prevailing prices of 1#A were 1500-1600 yuan/mt; 1#B were 1270-1400 yuan/mt; 2#A were 1200-1230 yuan/mt  from Sinopec and 1130-1290 yuan/mt from local refineries; 2#B  were 1100-1180 yuan/mt from Sinopec and 970-1050 yuan/mt from local refineries; 3# were 1020-1040 yuan/mt from Sinopec and 850-930 yuan/mt from local refineries; 4#-5# were 720-1030 yuan/mt on the mainstream and 800-850 yuan/mt on the low end.
