ICCSINO: Coal tar pitch prices continued to fall this month, dragged down by the declining prices of its raw material, coal tar. By month-end, the mainstream transaction prices for modified coal tar pitch stood at RMB 4,100-4,200 per ton, while medium-temperature pitch was priced at RMB 3,650-4,400 per ton. Downstream buyers showed weak purchasing interest and strong bargaining sentiment, indicating that coal tar pitch prices are likely to continue falling next month.
