ICCSINO: In this month, coal tar pitch prices declined, with the mainstream transaction price of modified coal tar pitch falling by 11.04% to RMB 3,550-3,700 per ton and the mainstream medium-temperature coal tar pitch price dropping by 10.3% to RMB 3,600-3,800 per ton. Raw material coal tar prices continued to decline throughout the month, leading to poor enthusiasm for purchases among downstream enterprises. Both the cost side and demand side of coal tar pitch lacked support, resulting in a decrease in operating rates at the end of the month. It is expected that coal tar pitch will consolidate next month.
