Needle coke market monthly report（07.01-08.02）

ICC News: Needle coke market continued to to go downward in July, with prevailing price for coal-based needle coke at 8,500-9,000 yuan/mt and petroleum-based needle coke at 8,500-9,000 yuan/mt. Coal-based needle coke producer Hongte Chemical contained the production output of this month at 2,500 tons for demand reasons, while petroleum-based needle coke producer Jinzhou Petrochemical cut the production down to 2,000 tons this week. Sinosteel Corporation Anshan Research Institute Of Thermo-energy still didn't resume production this month. On the imports front, import price of coal-based needle coke maintains stable overall, with the price at both Nippon and Mitsubishi Chemical maintaining at 1,400-1,500 US dollars per ton. On the petroleum-based needle coke side, import price of Petrocokes Ltd's products stands at 1,880-1,980 US dollars, and ConocoPhillips products are 1,850-1,950 US dollars.
