Needle coke market monthly report（8.1-8.31）

Chinacarbon news: Needle coke market ran at low level for the week. According to statistics, petroleum-based needle coke imports in July recorded 5,125 tons, basically the same as last month with a tiny increase of 25 tons. Among them, 2,895 tons came from Britain with unit price of US 2,124 dollars; 1,018 tons from America with unit price at US 2,150 dollars; 1,020 tons from Japan with unit price of US 2,027 dollars. Coal-based needle coke imports volume in July posted 4,087 tons, up 2,523 tons from June, which mainly came from Japan with unit price of US 1,573 dollars.
