Lithium ion market is warming up. European market has back to normal and US market was continuing weakening. At present, the process of digesting the lithium battery inventory is basically over. ICCSINO forecast that material enterprises would gradually increase operating rate in July or August.
Cathode material:
NCM: Chinese NCM market was stable and transaction situation was not good. Cathode quotations were variable based on the size of battery enterprises. For same type of NCM, purchase prices between leading and middle-small size battery enterprises would be 10K and 30K yuan/MT.
NCM Precursor: Chinese precursor market was weakening this week. NCM 523 precursor was 73000 yuan/MT. Upstream sulfate cobalt price continues to be declined. Transaction price was below 45,000 yuan/MT. Cobalt sulfate nickel and manganese sulfate price was stable.
LFP: LFP market was stable this week. From the supply situation, LFP market is in serious oversupply situation.
LMO: LMO market was stable. There is dominant increase in market supply. From the demand side, downstream low-end digital market gradually resumed. ICCSINO estimates that LMO price would maintain stable in short-term.
Lithium carbonate: Lithium carbonate price declined this week. Market atmosphere was weakening. Some enterprises cut price for orders.
Anode material:
Chinese anode market was gradually recovering driven by small power and ESS market orders growing. Overseas market demand was still weakening in June. ICCSINO forecasts that Chinese anode market demand would be increasing in July.
Separator:
Chinese separator market was warming up. From the supply side, Chinese separator supply was in upward trend, which was driven by new energy vehicle and small power market. ICCSINO separator market would grow quickly in July.
Electrolyte:
Chinese electrolyte market was gradually recovering, whereas there is no dominant increasing orders. Price was stable and nearly hit the bottom. In terms of raw material, solvent price was stable.
